Does anyone have this model and engine, and if so how many miles per gallon are you achieving when on a motorway/highway and how reliable is the car with this engine. For my work, I'd be able to do enough mike's to let the DPF regenerate.

I'm the owner of the Opel Astra 1.4 Hatcback. I’ve had my Opel for over 3 years and have driven it everywhere including Malaysia over 9 times and its performance is still amazing! I highly encourage anyone wanting a reliable continental to invest in an Opel!
The astra in itself is a good car. My parents have one and are quite happy with it. I suspect it's the same model, the SRi. Overall it's a nice car. The one thing I would say that over the last few generations, the equivalent Ford cars are generally nicer places to be. I'm on a 2012 Focus right now and I love it.
The Opel Astra 1.6T Sport OPC-Line is priced at R508 000 (June 2019) and is sold with a 3-year/120 000 km warranty, 5-year/90 000 km service plan, 3-year/120 000 km roadside assistance and a 12-year/unlimited km anti-corrosion warranty. The Astra 1.6T Sport OPC-Line offers very good value, but, at the price, lacks performance and badge appeal.
